Now, here's another one completely out of my box. I'm taking a colored pencil class from Robin Enneking, a local artist here in Tyler and am thoroughly enjoying a new medium. This is the progress of my first colored pencil painting. I find it most difficult because I know exactly how I'd handle this in watercolor... some of the thought process is the same, but not a lot. Still, I can see where colored pencil can be addicting. I started out (bottom picture) laying in light shades of color. The background is a combination of four
colors (you can see the layers). I still feel like I don't quite know what I'm doing yet.
