Signature Status

Before I left for Chicago this week I got word that another painting was juried into the Louisiana Watercolor Societies' 2008 International Exhibition. This enables me to receive my signature status in the society, which is good news! The painting of the Chicago marquee (title: It's My Kind of Town) was the one that made it in. Funny how I didn't expect that one to be the one! My recent piece titled: Home Sweet Home, of my daughter's home reflected in her husband's motorcycle won one of the top awards at the Hoover Watercolor Society show in Shreveport. I'm teaching so much at the college I have little time to do my own work, but now I'm fired up to begin more paintings!
