Shell Ginger - W.I.P. 2

Continuing on with this painting of Shell Ginger, I used my mixture of black (phthalo green and permanent alizarin) and added varying amoungs of my green mixture (phthalo blue and azo green) and glazed negative shapes in the background.  This painting is well on its way to being completed. All I need it more glazing in the flowers and separating out the shapes of the petals... then a bit of detailing in the rain droplets.
